We’re a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.

The Reliability Engineering team focuses on ensuring Robinhood’s systems are dependable, observable, and prepared to operate at scale. The team works closely with infrastructure, platform, and product engineering partners to strengthen system performance, improve incident response, and reduce operational risk. The work emphasizes clear processes, measurable reliability improvements, and consistent system behavior under changing conditions.

As a Staff Technical Program Manager, Reliability Engineering, you will lead programs that improve how Robinhood detects, responds to, and learns from system incidents! You will define incident management standards, guide response coordination, and ensure follow-up actions are completed to prevent recurrence. You will also translate reliability strategy into clear execution plans, aligning senior engineers and leaders on priorities, risks, and measurable outcomes. Your work will directly improve system uptime, response times, and operational clarity across engineering teams.

This role is based in our Menlo Park, California office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

● Run Complex infrastructure related migration projects to build a solid pre-production testing discipline.
● Provide clear updates on program status, risks, and system health metrics to engineering and product leadership
● Partner with engineering counterparts to establish reliability standards across the company like SLOs, CUJs etc.

What you bring

● 7+ years of experience leading technical programs related to infrastructure, reliability, or incident management in large-scale systems
● Ability to understand system architecture, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and work closely with senior engineers on design and execution
● Experience building incident management or reliability processes that improved measurable outcomes such as uptime or response time
● Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to coordinate effectively during high-pressure situations
