dbt Labs is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer ll to join our Platform Services teams. In this role you can expect to create and maintain stable, scalable services that are foundational to the dbt platform cloud product, based off solid architectural principles. We’re also driving forward the next evolution of the dbt platform by redesigning our external APIs to power improved user experiences. From rethinking our core data model and entities, to scaling our APIs accessing state that power hundreds of thousands of dbt run executions a day, you’ll be working on some of the most crosscutting and high scale work at dbt Labs today.
You’ll be joining a collaborative team of engineers; and as a Senior Engineer ll on the team, you will prioritize and tackle problems as they arise, working iteratively with product management, security and QA to deliver a great experience for our dbt Cloud administrators and end users.
Today we serve some of the largest data-driven organizations in the world, enabling them to make decisions based on the knowledge at the core of their business. Your work directly impacts dbt Lab’s mission by expanding the organizations we serve and the data practitioners we reach. You will have an opportunity to flex into a security mindset while bringing your software architecture and programming skills.
