We’re building an AI notepad that helps teams get to the point faster. Now we want to build a brand people actually pay attention to in a category full of forgettable AI tools. Stories are how we get there.
We’re looking for a Content Lead to take ownership of everything we say, publish and show to the world. You’ll shape how people see Granola, the stories we tell, and the community growing around our product.
This is a new function at Granola and you’ll be building it from scratch. Day to day, you’ll make things. Writing. Shooting. Editing. You will also scale your output through freelancers, agencies and eventually a team.
Write and produce most of what Granola puts out in the world — across our blog, social channels, email, and video
Turn our brand positioning into creative that feels alive everywhere our ICP hangs out

Tell our story in public — founder stories, behind the scenes, lessons from building Granola. Showcase us as a passionate group of humans, not just a tech product
Dream up bold campaigns, creative stunts, and moments that draw in our people and make them want to share what we're doing
Work closely with Growth Marketing and Product Marketing to make launches land, turn organic signal into acquisition, and sharpen everything we put out
Brief, direct and quality control freelancers and agencies to extend your output without losing the Granola voice
You have created standout content for B2B or product-led tech brands
You have hands-on creative experience as a designer, videographer, writer, editor or similar
You have owned channels end to end. Idea to script or asset. Publish. Learn. Iterate
You understand distribution. What works natively on LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube and why
You have partnered closely with performance and product marketing teams to make their work sharper, more impactful and more effective
You're not afraid to be bold with ideas. Granola is not a cookie-cutter SaaS product, and we're not interested in copying what others in the category do. We have an opportunity to create a truly distinctive voice, and we want someone who's excited by that
Are a driver, not a passenger. You spot opportunities and run with them
Love making things on the internet. You are a builder first
Are energized by zero to one work, ambiguity and figuring out the playbook as you go
Value low ego, high ownership collaboration with PMM, growth and founders
Have strong creative taste and are pragmatic about experimentation, data and constraints
Are excited about AI native products and how they change what great content and creative can look like
